Andrew Goldblum, DO, serves as Vice Chair of the Social Media Committee for the American Society of Pain & Neuroscience (ASPN), where he works alongside committee chair Nikhil Verma, MD, and co-Vice Chair John H. Gallagher, MD, MS, to advance the society’s digital outreach and online educational presence. Dr. Goldblum completed his osteopathic medical training at the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 2019, and went on to complete his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at the University of Missouri School of Medicine, graduating in 2025. He subsequently pursued fellowship training in Pain Medicine at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

During his residency, Dr. Goldblum was an active contributor to ASPN’s educational mission. He co-authored the society’s “Social Media Behavior Guidelines for Healthcare Professionals: An American Society of Pain and Neuroscience NEURON Project,” published in the Journal of Pain Research (Volume 17, November 2024), a best-practice guideline addressing responsible and effective social media engagement for pain medicine clinicians. In ASPN newsletter coverage of his incoming committee leadership, Dr. Goldblum was recognized for his enthusiasm for outreach and his contributions to the society’s presence for trainees, and he has written for ASPN about the organization’s support of residents and fellows transitioning into pain medicine.

Dr. Goldblum’s clinical interests center on musculoskeletal and spine-related conditions, reflecting his combined training in physical medicine and rehabilitation and interventional pain management.
