Brittney Misercola, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, CFRN, is a member of the Advanced Practice Providers Committee of the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience (ASPN). She is a family nurse practitioner in interventional pain medicine with Pain Specialists of America in Texas.
With more than two decades in nursing, Misercola began her career as an emergency and prehospital registered nurse before becoming a family nurse practitioner, with clinical experience spanning neurology, emergency medicine, and orthopedic surgery. She has since focused her practice on interventional pain medicine, where she works collaboratively with physicians throughout the continuum of care, assessing patients and reviewing their histories and examinations to identify candidates for treatment.
She serves as Director of Clinical Education for Advanced Practitioners at her practice and is faculty for national advanced practice provider education programs, speaking on topics in interventional pain. She has co-authored abstracts presented at national and international meetings and takes part in clinical research.
