Dawn Sparks, DO
Member, Healthy, Longevity, and Age-Related Pain Committee
Dawn Sparks, DO, is a member of the Healthy, Longevity, and Age-Related Pain Committee of the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience (ASPN). A pain medicine physician, she owns and operates Lighthouse Healing, a pain management practice on the island of Kauai in Lihue, Hawaii.
Dr. Sparks earned her osteopathic medical degree from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed fellowship training in pain management at the Cleveland Clinic. Earlier in her career she served as an assistant professor of anesthesiology at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth before moving into private practice. She has practiced pain medicine for more than a decade.
At Lighthouse Healing she provides comprehensive care for chronic and acute pain, using a whole-person approach that combines interventional pain management with regenerative medicine and strategies for healthy living, diet, and exercise. She has taken part in ASPN annual meeting programming as a faculty participant.
