Reda Tolba, MD
Member, Education Committee
Reda Tolba, MD, is a member of the Education Committee of the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience (ASPN) and the founding Chair of the International Society of Pain and Neuroscience (ISPN), ASPN’s international society. He helped organize ISPN’s inaugural meeting in Dubai in December 2023 and has been central to planning the society’s subsequent international meetings.
Dr. Tolba is Division Chair of Pain Medicine within the Neurological Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and a Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. He is dual board certified in pain medicine and anesthesiology, and completed both his anesthesiology residency and his pain medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.
Before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, he served as Founding Program Director of the pain medicine fellowship at Ochsner Health in New Orleans and as Associate Program Director of the pain medicine fellowship at Wake Forest. His practice focuses on interventional pain management and neuromodulation for chronic pain conditions, and he was the first physician in the Middle East and North Africa region trained to perform the Intracept procedure.
