Yussr Ibrahim, MD
Member, Young Innovators
Yussr Ibrahim, MD, serves as a Co-Chair of the Young Innovators Committee of the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience (ASPN), where she helps lead the committee’s education efforts and its work to build pathways for the professional development and mentorship of early-career pain physicians. She leads the committee alongside Vinny Francio, Anuj Shah, and Kelsey Gustafson.
Dr. Ibrahim is a pain medicine physician in Bangor, Maine, affiliated with Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, completed residency training in anesthesiology at Maine Medical Center, and completed fellowship training in pain medicine at the Cleveland Clinic. She is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in anesthesiology and in pain medicine.
Her clinical work centers on interventional pain medicine, including advanced neuromodulation techniques. Through her role with ASPN, she focuses on education and career development for the society’s Young Innovators.
