FAQ

How long is the program?

Twelve months, divided into four themed quarters.

What's the difference between Fundamentals and MISN Certification?

Fundamentals includes didactics and a written exam only. MISN Certification adds mentoring, site visits, and a practical exam, leading to procedure-specific certification.

Where is the practical exam held?

At the ASPN Annual Meeting in 2027.

Can I add procedures later?

Applicants may select 1–3 procedures within the Certification pathway. (Details on additions/changes will be provided upon acceptance.)

Note: MISN is a standalone ASPN certification, distinct from the Intracept Certification Course (the invitation-only pre-conference course on the annual-meeting hub). Looking for mentorship rather than certification? See MINDset.
