Job Description

Advanced Pain Management & Spine Specialists is seeking a skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our multidisciplinary pain management team in Fort Myers, Florida.

Our practice focuses on helping patients restore comfort, improve mobility, and enhance quality of life through advanced interventional and minimally invasive pain management techniques.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative clinical environment treating both acute and chronic pain conditions affecting the spine, joints, and nervous system.

Position Overview

The APP will play a central role in evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patients while supporting interventional pain procedures and coordinating care across the clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including medical history and physical examination
  • Evaluate and manage acute and chronic pain conditions, including spine-related and neuropathic pain
  • Interpret diagnostic imaging and clinical findings to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Assist physicians with interventional pain procedures and minimally invasive treatments
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to deliver coordinated care
  • Provide patient education on diagnoses, treatment options, and recovery expectations
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Active and unrestricted Florida APRN or PA license
  • Board certification as applicable
  • Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience in pain management or related specialty preferred
  • Experience assisting with interventional procedures strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with regenerative medicine and interventional pain therapies is a plus
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to develop and manage individualized treatment plans
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
