Job Description

Apollo Pain Management is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join its interventional pain team in Bradenton, Florida. This position will begin as part-time (3 days per week) with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role.

This is an opportunity to help grow a new, state-of-the-art facility while working in a collaborative, physician-led environment focused on delivering high-quality pain care.

The ideal candidate will manage clinical patient care activities, including follow-up visits, medication management, and basic interventional procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Work under the supervision of a physician
  • Conduct patient evaluations including history, physical exam, and diagnostic review
  • Interpret imaging studies including XR, CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound
  • Diagnose pain conditions and recommend appropriate treatments
  • Prescribe controlled and non-controlled medications within scope of practice
  • Provide patient education and care coordination
  • Assist in operating room procedures as needed
  • Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and HIPAA standards
  • Document accurately using EMR systems (eClinicalWorks preferred)

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or APRN program
  • Active Florida license
  • Proof of professional certification
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Experience in interventional pain management preferred, but not required (training available)
  • Strong bedside manner and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Understanding of HIPAA compliance and clinical safety standards

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: Starting at $60/hour, based on experience

  • Part-Time schedule: 2–3 days per week, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • No nights, weekends, or hospital rounds
