Job Description

Apollo Pain Management is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Pain Physician to join its growing, physician-owned practice in the Tampa Bay region.

This opportunity offers the ability to join a brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Bradenton, FL while maintaining clinical presence in Sun City Center. Physicians will have the ability to shape their practice without corporate interference in a collaborative, physician-led environment.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
  • Perform minimally invasive interventional pain procedures
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Interpret diagnostic imaging including XR, CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound
  • Supervise advanced practice providers and co-sign documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and clinical documentation standards

Requirements & Qualifications

Required Education & Training:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency (Anesthesiology, Neurology, or PM&R)
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pain Management fellowship
  • Board certified or board eligible in Pain Medicine
  • BLS and ACLS certification

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Active Florida medical license
  • Valid DEA certification
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical evaluation skills
  • Proficiency in interventional procedures including nerve blocks, RFA, ESI, SCS, PNS, MILD, PANI, SIJ fusion, and kyphoplasty
  • Experience with orthobiologics (PRP, stem cell) is a plus
  • Proficiency with EMR systems (eClinicalWorks preferred)
  • Ability to supervise mid-level providers
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
