Job Description
Diagnostic Pain Center is a rapidly growing pain management practice with two locations in the heart of Austin, Texas. This opportunity offers a high level of autonomy and strong growth potential within a practice focused on delivering high-quality patient care.
The practice emphasizes thorough history and physical evaluations to guide treatment plans that may include interventional procedures, non-opioid medications, and surgical referrals when appropriate. The clinical approach prioritizes minimizing opioid use while recognizing its role when medically necessary.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with pain conditions in an outpatient setting
- Develop treatment plans based on quality history and physical examinations
- Perform or recommend interventional pain procedures as appropriate
- Prescribe non-opioid medications when suitable
- Refer patients to surgeons when clinically indicated
- Provide patient-centered care with an emphasis on quality outcomes
Requirements & Qualifications
- ACGME fellowship training in Pain Management required
- Applicants from PM&R, Anesthesiology, Neurology, Emergency Medicine, or other primary specialties are welcome
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Management
- Board eligibility must convert to board certification within 1 year of employment
- 2026 fellowship graduates and current practitioners are welcome to apply
