Florida Pain Physicians is seeking a skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our expanding multidisciplinary pain management team in Jacksonville, Florida.
This role offers the opportunity to practice in a collaborative, patient-focused environment dedicated to restoring function, reducing pain, and improving quality of life for patients with acute and chronic conditions.
Our approach integrates interventional treatments, regenerative therapies, and traditional and alternative pain management strategies to deliver comprehensive, individualized care.
Position Overview
The APP will play an integral role in evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patients while working closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
This position may include coverage across multiple clinic locations, including Jacksonville and surrounding North Florida communities such as St. Augustine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed patient assessments including medical history and physical examination
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic pain conditions and related comorbidities
- Interpret diagnostic tests and clinical findings to develop individualized treatment plans
- Assist with interventional pain procedures and regenerative therapies under physician supervision
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and procedural expectations
- Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation

Requirements & Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Active and unrestricted Florida APRN or PA license
- Board certification as applicable
- Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
- Experience in pain management or related specialty preferred
- Experience assisting with interventional procedures strongly preferred
- Familiarity with regenerative medicine and interventional pain therapies is a plus
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to develop and manage individualized treatment plans
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
