Job Description
VIP Pain Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our multidisciplinary pain management team in Jacksonville, Florida.
Our practice is built on a patient-centered, evidence-based approach focused on improving function, comfort, and overall quality of life for patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment supporting both acute and post-acute care settings.
Position Overview
The APP will play a key role in evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patients while working closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations
- Assess, diagnose, and manage pain-related and comorbid conditions
- Interpret diagnostic tests and clinical findings to develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide ongoing patient care and adjust treatment strategies as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and pain management strategies
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Stay current with advancements in pain management and clinical best practices

Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Credentials:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Active and unrestricted Florida APRN or PA license
Experience & Qualifications:
- Active DEA license or proof of application
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as an Advanced Practice Provider
- Experience in pain management, acute care, post-acute care, or complex patient populations preferred
