Job Description

United Spine & Pain is seeking a skilled Interventional Pain Physician to join our physician-owned practice in Tallahassee, Florida.

This is a unique opportunity to practice in an independent, physician-led environment with no private equity ownership and no hospital system control. Our practice prioritizes patient-centered care and long-term physician partnership.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in interventional procedures including nerve blocks, epidural injections, joint injections, radiofrequency ablation, and spinal cord stimulator trials.


Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage patients with chronic and complex pain conditions
  • Perform interventional pain procedures including epidurals, joint injections, nerve blocks, RFA, and SCS trials
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans using pharmacologic and interventional approaches
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to deliver coordinated patient care
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Travel occasionally to satellite clinic locations when needed

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
  • Residency training in Anesthesiology or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
  • Fellowship training in Pain Medicine preferred
  • Board certified or board eligible in Pain Medicine
  • Active Florida medical license
  • Valid DEA license
  • Strong experience with interventional pain procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience managing chronic pain patients preferred
