Job Description

Rothman Orthopaedics, a nationally recognized orthopedic and spine organization, is seeking Interventional Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physicians to support rapid outpatient expansion across Central Florida.

This position offers an opportunity to join a high-volume multidisciplinary spine team delivering advanced, patient-centered musculoskeletal care. New physicians will be based in newly developed locations including Celebration, Minneola, and Deland, with additional established sites throughout the region.

Current Central Florida locations include:

  • Winter Park
  • Orlando Magic Training Center
  • Innovation Tower (Orlando)
  • Lake Mary
  • Lake Nona
  • Oviedo
  • Davenport
  • Winter Garden

The spine team currently includes:

  • Three interventional physiatrists
  • One non-interventional physiatrist
  • Two spine surgeons
  • Three spine physician assistants

All office locations are equipped with advanced clinical resources including X-ray suites, orthotics services, physical therapy, and musculoskeletal ultrasound capabilities.

Start Timeline: Summer or Fall 2026

Teaching and research opportunities are available within the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage patients with spine and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Perform interventional spine procedures in an outpatient setting
  • Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing multidisciplinary resources
  • Collaborate with spine surgeons, physiatrists, and advanced practice providers
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
  • Participate in teaching or research initiatives as desired

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Board certified or board eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
  • Completion of fellowship training in Interventional Spine
  • Active Florida medical license or willingness to obtain
  • Strong procedural skills in interventional spine care
  • Recent fellowship graduates and fellows currently in training are encouraged to apply
