Job Description
MarinHealth Spine Institute is seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a high-volume spine practice providing comprehensive care for patients with spinal conditions.
This role includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities and offers the opportunity to work closely with anesthesia pain physicians and spine surgeons across the full continuum of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and manage patients with spinal conditions in both clinic and hospital settings
- Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging and laboratory studies
- Assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient care
- Provide patient education on diagnoses, procedures, and recovery expectations
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals
- Document patient encounters accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR)
Requirements & Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license and board certification
- Experience in spine care and interventional pain management preferred
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with anesthesia pain physicians and spine surgeons
- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings preferred
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems and clinical documentation
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $85.95 – $117.50 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
