Advanced Pain Management & Spine Specialists (APMSS) is seeking a mission-driven Physician to join our Southwest Florida pain management practice in Fort Myers.
Founded by Dr. Daitch, APMSS is built around a compassionate, patient-centered care model that emphasizes comfort, individualized treatment, and clinical excellence. The Physician will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain using multidisciplinary and interventional approaches, while contributing to a collaborative, high-quality care team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, histories, and physical examinations
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pain conditions
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Perform or oversee interventional pain procedures as credentialed
- Prescribe medications and therapies in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and families on treatment options and wellness strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer collaboration
- Support and uphold the patient-first culture of APMSS
Work Schedule:
- Full-time preferred; part-time or contract arrangements considered
- Primarily outpatient clinical setting
- Limited or no hospital call depending on arrangement

Requirements & Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board certified or board eligible in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Neurology, or related specialty
- Active and unrestricted Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA registration and controlled substance prescribing authority
- BLS/ACLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fellowship training in Pain Management or Interventional Spine
- Experience in outpatient or ambulatory pain practice
- Proficiency with fluoroscopic or ultrasound-guided procedures
- Familiarity with modern electronic health record systems
