Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Interventional Pain Physician to join our multidisciplinary team at Nevada Pain Management. The ideal candidate will be proficient in diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic pain conditions using interventional techniques. This position focuses on improving patient outcomes and quality of life through minimally invasive procedures and collaborative care planning.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Evaluation:
- Conduct thorough physical exams and assess patient histories
- Develop individualized treatment plans combining interventional and conservative options
- Educate patients on treatment pathways, expected outcomes, and risks
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
Interventional Procedures:
- Perform spinal injections, nerve blocks, facet joint injections, radiofrequency ablation, and spinal cord stimulator trials/implants
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during all procedures
- Maintain detailed procedural records and post-operative outcomes
Collaboration:
- Work closely with PCPs, physical therapists, and specialists to coordinate care
- Participate in case reviews and multidisciplinary care planning
Research & Development:
- Stay current on innovations in pain medicine and interventional care
- Contribute to research initiatives, patient education, and quality improvement projects
Administrative Duties:
- Complete timely documentation of patient visits, procedures, and outcomes
- Engage in initiatives that enhance clinical workflows and patient experience
Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Training:
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology, PM&R, or Neurology
- Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management (preferred)
Licensing & Certification:
- Active and unrestricted medical license
- Board certification or eligibility in pain medicine (preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
Experience:
- Strong knowledge of pain anatomy, syndromes, and treatment protocols
- Proficient with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Skills & Competencies:

- Ability to communicate complex information clearly to patients
